Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is proud to offer facility and community-based psych services. Our emphasis is on the safety and the comfort of the resident.

This service involves the assessment and treatment of the patient’s health, neuropsychological status and mental and nervous disorders associated with mental illness or with the psychological challenges some experience with aging.This may involve assessment and/or treatment of neurological or psychological functions, competency, depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, schizophrenia, or adjustment difficulties.
We do a thorough evaluation of each resident and their needs with a goal to assist the resident to experience their highest level of wellness, independence and happiness while maintaining a safe environment during this process.

Our residents benefit from a multidisciplinary approach. Each and every person delivering services is focused on your recovery. The multidisciplinary team consists of nursing staff, a primary care physician, consulting psychologist, consulting psychiatrist, consulting neurologist, activity staff, rehabilitation therapists, and a social worker. In addition to individual consultation as the need arises, our facility has a “Psych Rounds” process during which the psychologist and psychiatrist meet with our professionals to do a comprehensive case-by-case review of your diagnosis, medication regimen, side effect monitoring and general progress.
